PDFLogic Software License Agreement

PDF Creator for Windows 7 Licensing & PDF Server for Windows Server 2008 Licensing.

PDF Creator Licensing:

In workstation environment, the number of licenses to purchase is based on the number of workstations with PDF Creator software installed.

Examples:

1) 2 different workstations with PDF Creator software installed on both require a 2 user license.
2) 1 user has 2 different workstations (one desktop, one laptop) with PDF Creator software installed on both requires a 2 user license.
3) 2 different workstations, one with PDF Creator installed and shares this PDF Creator printer to the other computer require a 2 user license.


PDF Server Licensing:

In client-server environment, the number of licenses to purchase is based on the number of workstations that will access PDF Server Print Server through the network. Licensing is not concurrent nor is it based on the number of servers.

Examples:

1) 80 different workstations accessing PDF Server printer on the network require an 80 user license regardless of whether the 80 workstations will access PDF Server printer at different times or concurrently.
2) 40 users using Terminal Server or local applications require a 40 user license.
3) 20 total connected workstations but only 8 using PDF Server printer require an 8 user license.
